Pilates Mat/Tower ClassesPilates mat work flows from one exercise to the next, often with transitions that are like exercises themselves. In classical Pilates, a mat workout is truly that – a workout, and you will feel as though every muscle in your body has been worked. You will perform exercises laying down, sitting, on your side, kneeling and standing. Joseph Pilates put the exercises in a particular order for a reason – to warm your body up in such a way that you are ready for the next exercise.
