Arriving
In order to maximize the benefits of your treatment, we ask that you arrive about 15 minutes prior to your appointment. As a courtesy to others, please remember that if your treatment is delayed due to late arrival, it will end on time to preserve the spa experience of the next scheduled guest. Please leave your valuables at home, as JoyMoves is not responsible for lost or stolen items.
Children & pets
The minimum age to participate in JoyMoves classes or receive JoyMoves Spa services is 14 years old (except in the case of peels and some waxes, for which a minimum age of 18 is required). Children 13 and under are not permitted to wait for you during any spa service or class. Also, while we love animals, only seeing-eye dogs are permitted in the Spa.
Reservations
A valid credit card is required to reserve your appointment. This applies even if you intend to pay with a Gift Certificate. Please inform us in advance if you are pregnant, have high blood pressure, a heart condition, any other medical condition or have any special needs so that we may accomodate you. JoyMoves personnel cannot work on clients with open wounds, abrasions or other skin conditions. If you have any questions about a spa treatment and your health, please consult a doctor.
Payment
JoyMoves accepts cash, checks, Visa and Mastercard as methods of payment. Members may also redeem their JoyBucks for any service or product. We strive to provide the best value for our clients. As appropriate, prices for JoyMoves Massage & Spa services are subject to change without notice.
Gratuity Policy
We proudly recruit and train our staff to be the most qualified spa professionals in the industry. Gratuities are not included in any prices, and are always appreciated. However, they are discretionary and based upon the enjoyment of your service experience.
Cancellation Policy
If you are not able to make your appointment time, please cancel or reschedule by 11am the day before to avoid a 100% treatment charge. Scheduling an appointment is your acceptance of these policies.
Intake and release forms
As required by state law, JoyMoves has every client of the Spa fill out a health intake form. There are forms for each major category of Spa service. Please provide information on any physical ailments, medical conditions or allergies. The forms we have created also have registration information and a liability release. You can save time by filling the relevant form or forms out ahead of time – then just drop them off at the front desk on your way in. You only need to fill out these forms the first time you visit our Spa for the major category of Spa service. These forms can be downloaded by clicking on the links below.

Gift Certificates
JoyMoves Gift Certificates make an ideal gift for any occasion. They are available for Spa packages, as well as for individual treatments. You can put any dollar amount on them and you can even include gratuity if you choose. Gift certificates are non-refundable and must be presented at the time services are rendered. Also, they may not be redeemed for cash and cannot be transferred. Gift Certificates expire one year from date of purchase, unless otherwise stated. You may order your gift certificates by phone (512) 328-4440 or at the front desk.
Return Policy
If for any reason you’re not fully satisfied with a product, please return the unused portion of the product along with the receipt within fourteen days, and we’ll issue you a Spa credit for future use.
